There are two ways to request journal articles:

  1. Search the library's electronic databases and click on  to see options for obtaining the article.  If full text is not available through WU Libraries, click on "Request this item" to request the article.  The article citation will be imported once you log on to ILLiad with your WUSTL key and password.
  2. Log on to ILLiad with your WUSTL key and password.  Click on the Article request link in the left-hand menu.  Fill in as much citation information as available. Add any comments you wish to share with library staff in the Notes field.  Click Submit Request.

Most articles will be posted electronically in your ILLiad account usually within 24-48 hours.  You will receive an email notification when the article is available to be downloaded.
