If you are looking for dissertations written by Washington University alumni, you can search the author or title in the Classic Catalog.  Many recent dissertations are available online, either through ProQuest or through Washington University Digital Gateway’s Electronic Theses and Dissertations.  Older dissertations may be available in print, and are primarily shelved in the West Campus Library.

For dissertations written by scholars at other institutions, we have two databases ProQuest and Networked Digital Library of Theses & Dissertations which may provide digital copies, or you can request the dissertation through Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad).

If you are interested in purchasing a dissertation, see May I purchase a copy of a Washington University thesis or dissertation?
