Recalls:
A recall is used when someone needs an item that another person has checked out.
After the original loan period has passed, a recall will shorten the due date to a week from when the recall is placed. Items recalled for course reserves are due in 3 days.
Once a recalled item becomes overdue, the patron’s record is blocked until the book is checked in, and fines are doubled.
If an item you have checked out is recalled, you will be notified by the relevant Library. If you are having trouble returning it to the library, please contact the Circulation Unit at circ@wumail.wustl.edu.
