eBook Search Options
The main search box provides several ways to find eBooks. Use the dropdown to switch among the search options:
Classic Catalog
Try the Classic Catalog, which searches the WashU collections, including books, eBooks, journals, and films.
- A basic Classic Catalog search from the homepage will show both print and eBook formats in the results.
- From your results page, you can limit search to online results by selecting the "Modify Search" button, which you will find above the search term box.
- Scroll down a bit until you see the "Material Type" options.
- Select "Electronic Resource"
Or, begin with the advanced search screen
- Enter your search terms
- Scroll down a bit until you see the "Material Type" options.
- Select "Electronic Resource"
eJournals & eBooks
Search using Online Journals, Books and more
- Your initial search results will include eJournals as well. Click the "Books Only" radio button on your results page to eliminate journal titles.
NOTE: Your search terms search only in the title field. For example, Marley & Me would not show in the results of a search for "dogs"
