Washington University holds the rights to original interview footage created by Blackside, Inc. for Eyes on the Prize and other films from the Henry Hampton Collection. Filmmakers can obtain licensing for that footage.

The Film & Media Archive is also able to license original footage from the William Miles Collection as part of an agreement between Washington University and Miles Educational Film Productions, Inc.

Rights to stock or third-party footage from those films remain with the original owners. Please contact the Film & Media Archive for more information about licensing.
