In the oral history recording of Percy Green II (via American Lives, and linked at http://libguides.wustl.edu/stl-civil-rights)  he states he was born in 1935.

On this page from the St. Louis Public Library, his birth date is listed as August 28, 1935.  This is taken from a city resolution in his honor:
