I would recommend consulting this book: Cupples Station Terminal : a case study in urban preservation / by Kenneth L. Irons, Jr.  This book is available for use at Special Collections on the Washington University Danforth Campus.  

University Archives also has a file of newspaper clippings, and brief articles about the history of the property as part of the Building Information Files. This also includes some photographs of the buildings.  If you would like to consult these files, they are also available at Special Collections.
