Recommending a Purchase for the WashU Libraries Collection:

You can recommend a purchase for an book, eBook, subscription, or other material to the Libraries by contacting one of the subject librarians or filling out this form. Supply as much publication information as you can about the item.

Course Reserves Purchases:

If you are a professor and need an item for course reserves, check the Course Reserves page for guidance. You may also contact your Subject Librarian for help.

Note: Some eBook licenses have restrictions about how many users may access a book at a time. The Reserves department or a Subject Librarian can guide you through the available options. (See contact links above). It's also possible they may be able to identify an Open Educational Resource (OER) alternative.

Notes on eBook Requests:

Even though you may see an eBook available for purchase through Amazon, Google Books, or other site, eBooks do not always have an "institutional" purchase option. In these cases, a print format of the book would be the only purchase option for the Libraries.
