Q. Does the library have U.S. News and World Report?

U.S. News and World Report is available in a number of formats.  The libraries also have some access to the publication's popular rankings of college and graduate schools.

Online Access:

• Online access for the print issues from 1975-2024 is available through several aggregator databases. The print magazine ceased publication in July 2024.
• Access to articles from the online website usnews.com is available from 11/01/2005 through the present in Nexis Uni. 

Physical Access:

• The Law Library has print issues 1948-1993 bound in volumes. Olin Library has issues from 1969-2009 in Microfilm format. More information is available in our catalog.

College & Graduate School Rankings:

• Access to US News & World Report College Compass, which contains current college and graduate school rankings requires a supplementary password, which you will find on this page. You will be prompted for your WUSTL Key login to view the page. Historical rankings are not available in this product.
• Many, but not all, prior print editions of College and Graduate School rankings are available in Olin Library.  We have incomplete runs of America’s Best Colleges (1989-2010) and Best Colleges (2011-Present), as well as Best Graduate Schools (1998-2003), America’s Best Graduate Schools (2004-2011), Best Grad Schools (2012-2018). Check the linked catalog records to see which volumes the Libraries have.
