Responsible use of film is heavily context-dependent. For students enrolled in specific courses for instruction, film database licenses allow faculty and other authorized patrons to link to content through or embed content within online course management systems like Canvas to be accessed in either individual or group contexts for the purpose of supporting teaching, education and research. However, choosing to either link to content or embed content depends on how much is going to be used, whether the use is taking place inside or outside of class time, and whether this is taking place virtually or in person.
