My Catalog is an access point to check your library activity.  For example...

  • see what books you have checked out
  • check the progress of requests
  • renew books
  • Check your Reading History, which is record of your past WashU Libraries checkouts
  • link to your Interlibrary Loan (ILL) account, aka your ILLiad account

To access your library account online, click My Accounts on the Libraries homepage and choose "My Catalog." Login to My Catalog with your WUSTL Key.  You can save the direct link for this as a bookmark or favorite in your internet browser.

Activating "Reading History"

In order to see the list of your past checkouts, you must have previously opted in to the "My Reading History" option in your "My Catalog" account. If this wasn't previously done, there is no way to reconstruct what you had checked out (unless there were overdue fines associated with an item).

  1. To opt in to the My Reading History, first log into My Catalog.
  2. On the right side of the screen you will see a list of blue buttons, one of which is "My Reading History." Click on that.
  3. On the left side of the screen you will see an "Opt In" blue button. Click on that. Note that you may thereafter choose to Opt Out of the My Reading History feature at any time by clicking on the Opt Out blue button.
  4. Once you have opted in to the My Reading History feature, you may thereafter log into your My Catalog account and choose My Reading History to see a list of items you previously checked out.

Note: Lists of past MOBIUS checkouts are not retained in"My Catalog"

Privacy: Generally, you are the only person who can see your record. However, there are some instances in which others may see it; please see Confidentiality of Washington University Library Records.
