The majority of libraries assess a charge for providing books and photocopies on Interlibrary Loan. At present, Washington University does not pass these charges on to its patrons. However, we do ask that patrons always exercise judgment and discretion with regard to the number of items requested.

If you are affiliated with the Law School or Medical School, note that their policies may differ.  Contact the library or ILL department at the appropriate school to learn about their policies.
