ArcGIS software is available on the computers in the Arc Lab on Olin Library's level A.

The GIS computer lab in room 308 of the Earth and Planetary Sciences building has computers with various software packages including ArcGIS. The lab is open on the same schedule as the EPSc Library but is also used extensively for classes and private training sessions. Check the schedule posted by the entrance for availability.

Short term sessions can also be arranged to provide individualized training to research or staff groups interested in learning how to apply GIS technologies in their work. Please contact Bill Winston, GIS Analyst, to reserve the space or Aaron Addison, University GIS Coordinator, to discuss training needs.

Most university computer labs have the ArcInfo application installed for your use.  Students can also obtain the ArcGIS Desktop Educational Edition for installation on personal computers, see this page for details. Please contact Bill Winston with questions or if you need help with the installation.
