Answer

Download Restrictions:

There are limits, but none that are applicable for all databases and all ejournal publishers - it various with each, and no hard-and-fast numbers are published.

In general, you need to be aware of and follow copyright restrictions.

  • Downloading all the articles from a single issue or volume of a journal would probably violate both copyright law and the license agreement signed by the Libraries with that ejournal publisher or database vendor.
  • Automated 'text mining' via computer program is usually prohibited; if you have a project that requires it, that needs to be arranged in advance with the publisher or vendor.
